Gaskets for the holley stealth ram??

Hi There,
I've had a really rough running car for about a week & today I've found the problem. The upper intake allen head bolts has worked their way loose. All four bolts were loose & a 2 inch section was missing off of one of the gaskets. Can these gaskets be made & if so how can I go about it? I tried holley & they had all ready closed shop for the day, how much are these gaskets from holley if I have to purchase them?

Those gaskets that come with the stealth ram are pretty poor in my book. Any auto supply should carry sheet gasket material. Cut um out with an exacto knife, works great. Or just use a small bead of rtv, a star washer under the bolts might not hurt either.

yep...

thats what i say, there was a thred i was reading on here were somone used rtv quite sucessfully inplace of those gaskets.....

he was displeased as you were..... i personally think holley could have went a little further and designed e'm better, but they know whats best thats why they get the big bucks

also, be sure to check the angles if you don't have it on yet...... there was another thread were a few people got incorrect machined bases, and they leaked bad.....

well better go, good luck and keep us posted!!!
