85-86 Trans Am 5.0 Liter F.I. "Hood" Decal....on fenders?
I did some forum searches on this topic but didn't find anything....my '85 LB9 T/A likely came with a small red "5.0 Liter F.I." emblem below each vender vent (picture attached from another similar T/A)....I managed to find the emblems on the Classic Industries website (see link below), but they're being called "Hood Decals"....does anyone have any experience with these? I thought the emblems only came on the fenders - not the hoods - but before I go ahead and buy the emblems, I was hoping maybe someone has some experience with this and could confirm whether i'm buying the right decals....thanks!
Thanks for sending that link - it seems to confirm that the "5.0 Liter F.I." emblems are in fact for the fender and NOT the hood. Exactly what I was looking for, thanks again.

The early ThirdGen Trans Ams, and the Formula, had hood bulges with some having the engine sticker on them. On your 1985 it would have been on the rocker. According to the Parts & Illustration manual, they are different part numbers than the sticker on the rocker for the Trans Am.
