I don't think the answer to your question is available. Getting a figure for options on top of options is limited and almost impossible for anything 1989 and older due to lack of record keeping and publicly available information. Best available answer is, according to Robert Casey's book, there's just under 400 1988 Trans Ams that didn't have the A/C option. That does not count engine, transmission, etc., options.

However, I'm guessing your car is a Canada car? If so, the market numbers are different. The cars exported to Canada, with Canada spec, is a small portion of overall cars that remained in the states.

PM me your VIN and I can look it up on Compnine. sometimes it will show the breakdown and can sort out how many in Canada like that. I recall 88 Trans Ams might not be in the list ... but I Can look.

Keep in mind ... up in Canada .. AC was not a default option people ordered. LOTS of cars here did not have AC. When I ordered my 89 Formula back then, I had to specify AC and pay the AC tax! Lots of cars didn't have AC ... which made it funny to see all the AC Delete cars in the US ... AC was an option, not a Delete Option. I can see in the hotter states ... AC would be always ordered. No on knew it was just an option.

I don't believe those years are sorted. Otherwise, I can offer the same but didn't due to that reason.

Also, it would only account for Canada cars. So if someone wanted to know how many Canada cars didn't have A/C, with the 5 speed and the LB9, then that might be available. But if someone wanted to know how many total, not just Canada cars, that information is not available. The Canada cars make up very small portion of the overall units so that information would only have some interest by market.

Unless it's an export, most likely not.

You can check, for free, to see if they have your VIN in their database before paying.

Or PM your VIN.

The information in Compnine is not sorted for this application. So while it has the VIN in the database and has the RPO codes (same as what you have in your picture), there is no known figures as to how many were similarly equipped.
