I have an 1982 Z28 with a cracked dash (what a surprise - LOL) and I am going to put one of those snap on Dash Covers over top of it to hide the dash. My exterior is the Blue Metallic 29 and the interior is the Dark Blue. In some lights the dash looks black and in some lights, it looks like a really dark blue. I found one reference that said all 1982's had black dash pads but that's the only reference I could find. I would be ordering from Camaro Depot up here in Canada and they have one black (Satin Black - great!) and only five blues that a few of them look exactly the same (Blue 340, Blue Metallic 338, Blue OE-1, Bluemist 15213 and Dark Bluemist OE-6). https://www.camarodepot.ca/dashtop-1...dash-cover-222
I could eliminate the Blue OE-1 because it is the lightest but the other are very close in colour. I am trying to keep it as stock looking as possible. Long story short. Were the dashes all black in the 1982s? You guys are soooo knowledgeable and can steer me in the right direction. Thanks.

 

All dashes in the 82-92 Camaros were black.
