I have a Bright Red 1990 Iroc-Z. It was repainted (poorly) a year ago by the previous owner, who replaced the lower stripes but not the Iroc decals on the door. The stripes are black and silver, what colour Iroc-Z door decal belongs on the car? And does anyone have the measuresment from the door corner of where the decal is positioned so I can get it in the right place?

Well I can at least awnser one of your questions for you. You would want the silver IROC-Z decal and it would be placed farther back towards the door handle than mine is. But as far as exact measurements I'll leave that to the pros.... Anyone else please help him out. I'll attach a pic for ya if it helps? Oh yeah one more thing, your stripes that go around the whole car should be the opposite of mine like in my signature pic. Your black should be on top of the silver stripe, because I believe they changed that starting in '88.

 

On my red 1989 IROC the IROC letters are written in silver.

 

Thanks guys. I ordered the silver decal today. You're right, Bimma86.. the stripes are black over silver. Now I just need help with the position... anyone? =)
