88 GTA looks like maybe a conversion kit or what not, really nice. the rear wing is sweet. Kinda like the Z convertibles with a pedestal wing in the middle. Paint is clean except for a 1 inch by 10 inch swatch of paint gone off the rear fender flare. Minor things, top is clean but the threads are coming lose. It's far from "Stuart" but it's pretty clean. 39K original miles. Digital Dash and a 305 TPI/ auto. Any help would be appreciated.

 

The highest I have seen an 88 go for is 8500, so I wouldnt pay anywhere near that for the car. Its probably worth about 5-7000 depending on what sorta shape its in. From the way you describe the car it sounds like one of the few 88 ASC converted cars. Does the rear decklid, top cover, and the top itself look like the Camaro setup? I know the wing is different, but what you described is what ASC was using on 87-90 Firebirds.

Most of the 88's I have seen are GTA's with the digital dash and 305. Aside of it being unusual, thats about it. Its not factory original though, no 88's are... but at least if ASC did it, its not a hack job.

 

I would pay between 6-8 thousand mainly beacuse of the LOW miles.

I would KILL to get my hands on one of those spoilers... I hate the one that came on mine! Anyone maybe know where I can pick up one of these bad boys? I would even rather have one from a camaro conv. cause they dont flare out on the sides.

It has T/A side vents and Black cross lace wheels. i guess it's not a GTA. Still a nice car though. Oh well. Now.. where can I find an ASC TTA?! Muahahahaha:lala:
