It's a 1989 black/black/black IROC convertible with TBI and auto. It's loaded with option 3, and has 68k miles on it.

The body, top, engine, and tranny all work great. But I need a few things. Keep in mind that I am willing to spend a little more to get a little better. I plan on leaving it stock while modifying to make improvements (ex: suspension, brakes, tires, interior). Can anyone give suggestions for:

1) Needs new shocks/struts - should I redo the arms and coils at the same time?

2) Needs headers and back - suggestions?

3) Need larger tires - the 15s on here suck. What size can I go to without getting stupidly wide? Should I just bump to the 245s on 16s?

Hi. I think 16" tires/rims will fit on this car, but I'm not sure. I thoguht all Irocs came with 14" rims? Am I wrong?
Also, does a convertible come with any special options?
