In response for checking car being a genuine 1LE
My vin# is 1G1FP2385ML140481. I checked out the data section about my vin but didn't say much. My car is a 1991 Z28 1LE. 5.7 automatic. If you can run my vin and check it out that would be just great. thanks.

Why don't you take the VIN to a Chevy dealer, go to parts or service, and tell him what you're doing and have him print out all the RPO codes. Then you can take the RPO codes to the www.thirdgen.com RPO decoder and see for yourself exactly what it has.
I do this all the time; Chevy can do this for all 1990+ cars/trucks.

You can't tell model by the VIN but you do have the 350 TPI, your 8th digit means L98. You have to look at the RPO's for 1LE, and its www.ThirdGen.org
