I'm thinking of selling my GTA to start a superchargedd 3rd gen lt1 trans am project, but it's just and idea. The car has 94,000miles on the stock bottom end. The engine and suspension mods are in sig. Dark green metalic paint(mostly good, the front is a little chipped from rocks, there is a chip on the door, and the clear pealed off on a section of the bumper.) It's a hard top, with leather seats. The interior is good. Comes with JVC cd player, 10" subs and an amp. It handles like a dream, and has the power to back it up. I desktoped dynoed around 415 hp and Tq. I would just like to know how much i could expect to get for the car, and/or just the engine and transmission?

It's kinda hard to guage the overall quality of the car from your description I'd say off hand the range for the car w/engine would be around $5-$7K. I couldn't really tell you what just the engine and tranny would be worth, I'm sure someone here can though. Alot of it has to do with where in the U.S. you are dude and your profile and you don't mention where you are. For example, here in CA no one will even touch it because a car has to be smogged to even have the title transferred and your car is definantly NOT smog legal in CA

I think your ALOT better off keeping the car as the base for your new project and if anything just sell the engine/tranny like you also mention.

I live in ohio. I was thinking of just keeping my car and selling the engine off for the project, because all of the suspension work is already done on my car. The car is in good shape, with no rust. Everything works, and it has almost every option. It hasen't been driven much in the winter(my ex girlfriends cousin owned it since 93).
