Rare, 1 year only Camaro spoiler?
I've seen a few Camaros with a unique wing and I remember reading somewhere that they where only offered for 1 year. The wiing I am referring to is similar to the '91-92 Z28 wing but is shorter. Does anyone know what year this was an option, how many where made, and does it have an integral 3rd brake light? Thanks guys

I think they're pretty ugly...probably why nobody cares that there aren't a whole lot of 'em. Gotta say that I'm glad that my '88 came with the three piece spoiler.

So, if I where to find one, it would probably be pretty cheap. But then one man's garbage is another man's treasure. I'll try Hawks's and Thirdgen Resource.

I just found my Camaro WhiteBook and it says that 39,000 cars came with that (D81) spolier. Damn, that's not rare, lol.

I know GM discontinued the D81 spoiler. I have yet to see it listed by anyone else. ..... but I do happen to have one I don't need. It doesn't have the third brake lamp assembly though....

I don't know. The D81 lamp assembly's GM part number is 16510286. Call your local Pontiac parts department and compare this with the '89 GTA's lamp.
