What are some large semi-national car shows worth traveling for?
hey everybody - last few years i've been trying to attend a larger car show outside of my state (western NY). trying to find some new ones but having trouble searching online. when i search, it's giving me like every car show happening this summer. i'm looking for larger shows and not typical local lawn fetes, animal shelter fundraisers, etc... i know of some like: Woodward Dream Cruise, Good Guys, Carlisle, Syracuse Nationals, Pontiac Nationals, Radwood... can anyone recommend some shows like this in the NE, mid-atlantic or SE?? thank you.

Hot Rod Power Tour. It's the most fun I have all year.

that's definitely on my list! i'll probably have to wait until my kids graduate from high school. they always have a ton of stuff going on in June which makes it hard to be away for a week.

Power tour is worth it even if you can only make one day. There is nothing else like it.

What kind of things are you looking for/ into. I am a concourse kind car guy. So I prefer shows that offer 1000 points or higher shows. I would suggest the Camaro National or The Trans Am Nationals based on what I am into.

Was mainly thinking large car shows. When I go to local ones it’s all the same cars every year. It’s nice to see different stuff. Plus some of the bigger shows have vendors and cars from builders / shops that you see online or TV.

That's hot rod power tour. It's for every car vs LS fest or Holley drag week which are more serious. You'll see all kinds of vehicles and with 8k + cars you see new ones at the hotels, gas stations and main events. The car show goes beyond the venue. You see cars everywhere.
