History of the Firebird( My edited version)
Heres my history on firebirds. These cars are what started it all . They are mine besides the GTA. Red one with primer does12.89 @ 106 mph 60ft times are 1.8 secs on cheap ARCO gas and never has overheated even in 90+ degs,It never gets above 180 degs. Engine is a stock rebuilt 400 cid by Napa for $980 in 91,stock non ported heads, Street dominator intake, 800 cfm dbl pumper, 3,000 hughes stall converter, 3:73 rear end, 4 wheel discs, 1 7/8" front sway bar 7/8" rear. .Convert did 13.9 @ 100mph with 2sec 60ft times with a 2:73 non posi,1 3/4 " exhaust. Blew up rear end doing a 230+ ft burn out for pontiac spectators but bought an H.O. 3:36 rear end for $70 and had it in 3 days later. I have redone everything on this car, Factory 8 track, tilt wheel, Super T 10 4 sp , New chrome ,interior and paint. It also has a 66 Tri power Gold 67 I just purchased from an 81 year old that has a 455 4 sp 3:90 rear end.How could you not like this guy? Last red car has a new heart and lung transplant . It now has a 1970 ram air III engine , car body has 518,000 miles and increasing. It also has 4 wheel discs ,1 1/4" front sway bar , 7/8" rear. I Know these aren't 3rd gens but they are cool! I will have to get the GTA pictures on here soon.

All I can say is that you have bragging rights my friend. I love my GTA very much but I can only dream of the day I own a first gen Firebird. If I had one, I probably drive it everyday too.
