Door Decals

I have an 89 IROC that I just had repainted. The decals are on the center of the bottom half of the door, which I said is wrong. Since I had the decals made for $30 I was not going to argue with the man, but I know it isn't right. Does anyone know the exact place that the decals are suppossed to be located at?
Thanks
Chris

I from 85-87 they were located forward on the door, 88-90 they were on the rear of the door (if equiped)

Thanks for the response guys. I knew that I was right on that one. But does anyone know the exact measurements from the edge of the rear of the door, and also from the bottom of the door that I can go off of? That would help so I can place them in the correct spot.
Thanks

here are the dims of the decals

from the edge of door to the bottom of the I is 3 1/4
bottom of the door to the bottom of decal is 6 1/4

and the decal is 2 1/4 X 25 1/4

not sure if this will work...

Thanks again for the info, that is a start, I guess my only other question is how far from the edge of the door is the I in IROC. As in from the quarter panel edge of the door. That is the only other thing that I need to know in order to get my decals in the correct location.
Thanks
