I finnaly stopped by this 86 IROC this guy is selling and looked at it real quick. There is nothing special about it. But the one thing that got to me is it had a factory steering wheel with radio controls. Where did those come from? I though Camaros never had these things only Birds. What was the RPO code for it. I'll try to take pictures tomarrow when I go back up there during the day and when he's there. Adam :-)

Camaros never got a steering wheel with radio controls. It was most likely swapped from a GTA.

 

It's NOT A bird wheel. I know what a bird wheel looks like do to having one on my 89 RS(don't ask. lol.). And I know what a IROC wheel looks like do to having on on my 87 IROC. I will get pictures of it tomorrow. It looks just like mine here. But has the controls inbtween the horn button and the rim on the two black things. Adam :-)

 

Sounds like a Berlinetta wheel, it had the steering wheel controls. But was for the cruise control.

 

As Klortho pointed out the Berlinetta('84-'86)was the only Camaro with factory steering wheel controls.And those were for the cruise control.A PO could have swapped it in.
Does the "IROC" you're looking at have a digital dash?Also check the fifth digit of the car's VIN(P = Z28/Sport Coupe,S = Berlinetta).

 

And we have a winner. I thought they were radio controls. But didn't get a good look at them last night. They just swapped the horn button over. I was kind of getting my hopes up of finding a camaro wheel with radio controls. Oh well. Adam :-)
