The 10th digit of the vin is telling me the car is an 85, not an 88. If it was an 88 it would be a J. The H in the 8th spot tells us the car is a carbed 305. I don't see a z28 in the rpo package, so it's possible it just may be a heavily optioned base model.
Cheers!!!

I found a Camaro VIN decoder HERE and punched in your VIN.. Looks like it's a 1985 model.. Probably a Sports Coupe..
The tail lights look correct for a 1985 I have NO idea how that third brake light got on the roof.

Another weird thing about that third brake light, there weren't any until 86...or at least I didn't think so. I believe they weren't required by Uncle Sam until 86 or later...

What is interesting is the KC4 (Engine Oil cooler) with the LG4... I have never seen a car with that combo...

Decent car with some nice options like the KC4 (mentioned by okfoz) and . . .
G80 - limited slip (nice)
J65 - front & rear disk brakes (nice)
BS1 - quiet sound group was standard on the Berlinetta and fairly rare in other models (around 2.7% of total production excluding the Berlinetta).
B48 - luggage compartment trim was also no cost to the Berlinetta although could be had with the "custom interior" on other models.
But I'd also say you definitly without a doubt have a Sport Coupe because . . .
C60 - air condtioning (not available on the Berlinetta, the Berl's got the C67 electronic AC)
. . . and because you don't have . . .
DK6 - roof console (standard on the Berlinetta)
B4Z - Iroc option package
D80 - rear spoiler (standard on the Z28)
. . . and because you do have . . .
U21 - special instrumentation (not available on the Berlinetta)
YE3 - convenience pkg #3 (not available on the Berlinetta)
Cool car.

No kidding about raising old threads from the dead... As for the CHSML looking at it, the car is a 1985, Export, Europe I am not sure if it was after market or not.. I have to remember that Not everything is in the Parts catalogs, there may have been something with T89 : LAMP, TAIL & STOP, EXPORT which may be the high mount stop lamp, as the tail lights appear to be stock. I do not know when they dropped the Z28-E with the Amber turn lights on the outside and the red on the inside.
The side marker lights were standard fare when exporting to some European countries...
