Instead the unabridged original Console Shift Plate Assembly to blend just use this adapter plate.

The adapter plate is made of a 2 mm thick steel plate, the laser-cut and was black, gloss powder coated.

since I have no original Automatic Shifter Plate on Firebirds etc, I can not make. Maybe someone can give me the exact measurements so.

I've seen Firebird shifter plates made from sheet metal, however they do have a curve/bend at the front so it's not simply cutting it out. Would be best to have an actual console to fit it into imo.
