Looking for the triangle attachment for the bottom of the shifter pin on a 1982 firebird w/ auto tranny.

Hi,
I need the lower pin which holds the 5" shifter pin shaft to the shifter assembly. (my Pontiac dealership mechanic refered to it as the "triangle attachment" located at the bottom of the shifter pin shaft). GM has no part number as the part is long discontinued, even through the restoration division.
Like so many other 82's, my shifter pin jumps out of the shift **** every chance it gets when I select a gear. I was able to find new replacement tabs for the top of the shifter pin, but I also need this mysterious lower pin as well, or so they say.....
At this point, I'd also entertain buying the whole shifter assembly in order to get the right part....lol.
Thanks.

Sorry, but I'm just repeating what I'm being told by pontiac techs. I was hoping someone would understand.
If anyone knows what I need to fix the problem and has the part(s), please email me
Thanks
