for 88 Iroc. Must be fully working, lights and all obviously. Must have the plug and preferbaly a CD player, sure if they made them. All i ever had was the casette. Im not even at least the casette with equalizer. Cant be yellow writing on the radio. I think 90-92 were like that. i could be wrong. The radio I have works great and is in car now but maybe i am just getting old, i just want something simple that i can see easliy. (dad would be proud). I have the adapter kit. if interested, please let me know. i am in Connecticut. I copy and pasted some of the specs on the radio i have now. please send a pic of the radio you have,

Thanks -Rob

Talk about a rare feature at a low price — the preamp outputs on Sony's CDX-R3000 CD receiver have a subwoofer mode with a low-pass filter. Use it to keep the non-bass frequencies out of your subwoofer so that the sub can focus on doing what it does best — making bass!
For sound control, you get Sony's EQ3 — its 3-band equalizer gives you fine-tuning capability, while seven preset tone curves allow quick, hassle-free adjustments. You can assign a separate EQ curve to each listening source, so you don't have to correct the sound every time you switch from CD to radio.
Sony's "Motion Blade" faceplate design protects the CD slot from foreign objects (dirt, grime, french fries). Just slide the panel down to access the CD slot. Add the optional remote for convenient control.
Details:
» detachable face » SSIR-EX tuner » 18 FM/12 AM presets » seek tuning » plays CD-Rs/CD-RWs » EQ3 (3-band equalizer and 7 preset tone curves) » installs at any angle from 0° to 45° » selectable rear/subwoofer preamp outputs » low-pass filter » clock » 23.2 watts RMS/52 peak x 4 channels » optional remote » CD frequency response 10-20,000 Hz » CD signal-to-noise ratio 120 dB » FM sensitivity 9 dBf » warranty: 1 year » Want more peace of mind?

Factory CD decks are worth far more than many aftermarket radios... they sell for quite a bit on ebay.

Just a heads up.

Yea, thanks. Id settle for a cassette just the same. I figure there someone out there with one sitting in a garage somewhere or looking for a better quality radio that doesnt care about the stock look.
