WTB 82-84 Trans Am gauge cluster
I am going to make a custom digital cluster but I want to put it inside an original gauge cluster. Must have a mechanical speedo since I need to use part of the electronics (VSS).
Would prefer if it does not work since I will be gutting it anyway and would rather not pay more for a working cluster.

Re: WTB 82-84 Trans Am gauge cluster
There was an 83 Bird at a local boneyard the last time I visited. It had a decent looking cluster in it. ( The car was complete when it arrived a couple months ago. )
If your interested than feel free to make an offer for it. If I can get it for less than your offer than I will pull it out If you include your ZIP in your reply than I can use it to get a shipping quote in advance.
P.S. The car was a V6 and the cluster was full gauge. I think the cluster may have been from a V8 due to the 30/60 oil pressure gauge - but can't be sure.

Just the shell without the gauges would be fine. That is if I can swap the little yellow box from the back of my cluster to the one you have. Do you know if its possible? Otherwise I will need the little yellow box from yours too. I basically need everything except the gauges.

What years did they make the 140mph speedo? If its from that time frame, I see a complete 140mph speedo in a TA every time I go to the junkyard. Just never had a use for it so I never took it

----------
I dont think it was available before 1985 so it may even be electronic, which wouldnt work for what I need it.
I'll just wait for a 1982-84 V8 cluster.
