OK, you're probably thinking, what the heck is a Pawl? I have a locking cargo area on my 84 Firebird. The part that gets screwed (with 2 screws) to the rear wall, that the locking arm goes into, is called the Pawl. Now you know. I need one. I must have given mine away by mistake. Here's a picture. BTW, my Pontiac Illustration manual calls it simply a "Striker", part number 20430308.
