I'm looking for a hatch light that has a built in switch. My 85 SC had one, and I'd really like one like it for my RS.

Apparently, not many people have seen one before, so if you know what years they were available, that will help me figure out how to get one

ok, all I realy need is the switch.. my hatch light is fine, except it won't turn off! That's why the switch is perfect for me, even though apparently they didn't use them in 1989

 

I think the switch was used up till 1988.My old 88 camaro had one while my 89 doesnt

I have one for you, $5 plus shipping. All Fbodys had that light and switch if equipped with the luxury interior lighting group, but only until 1988. Starting in 1989 the light would turn on automatically when opening the hatch. Let me know.

 

something is wrong with my wiring so it stays on all the time... I have an 89.
