I need the plastic trim that covers the rear hatch area - the trim that covers the hatch release mechanism. There are a few variations of this piece. I need the one that has the shelf on it for the locking cargo cover, but without the pull down hatch motor. I prefer charcoal, but grey or black will do also.
It can't be dried out at all. Fading is usually an indication of a dried out panel, so if it has fading, and you can scratch it with your fingernail, it is no good.

Hi 82,what yrs. where those 2 firebirds that I took pics of a couple wks. ago,I think they had them in their, not sure but one was black and the other was gray.

 

I am pretty sure they were early model TA's. I think that particular panel I need was available from 1982 to 1985. After that, I think the cargo cover wasn't available anymore.

That's the sheetmetal part that the tail light mounts to. I need the trim that covers that.

I'm pretty sure I've still got one,... been in stoarage for years and in great shape. ( I've got a pic but didn't try to dig it out yet ! ) Charcoal, CARPETED, from an 84, with locking storage cover "lip" & has an optional hatch light hole in it. I think the only one(s) I've got are made for T-Top cars. Do you have T-Tops ? Do you have a 'contact panel' on the hatch back ?? ( see hole in panel on top right for contact panel )
