Hatch Pull Down Assembly. Entire thing needed for 1991 Firebird

Just like the title says. My hatch is slightly crooked so I'm not sure if that contributed or not. It was like this when I bought it.

I realize there are a couple versions of this piece. I would like whatever's newest or most reliable version.

Here's a video of the unit.

Thanks,

I have a entire 91 hatch motor, including the full bracket that attaches to the rear of the car. The key hole is still in it. So you would have to put you key lock unit in it. Hope you know what I mean. It came out of a 91 camaro. Yours looks like the one I have. I will try and get to it tomorrow and shoot you some picture's if your interested. The reason it slides in the bracket is to adjust for it to be pulled down.

The Black wire in your vid is for the optional "hatch release" solenoid. I'm guessing that you do not have a button on your dash to open the hatch ?!?

This hatch motor is similar to all 85 to mid 1991 cars. The hatch pull down harness was changed slightly around 88, but the motor assemblies are all the same and the harnesses interchange. From 86-92 there was no such thing as a "slam" hatch; they all had "pull down" type motors installed after 86. ( mid 91-92 cars use a completly different type of hatch motor.)

$85 for the complete assembly......fully functional with only slight wear in the "guides". $125 for one with very good guides. (Shipping would be $16 for Priority mail / insured )

Send me a PM for the details if your interested.
