Re: Sear Hinge Plastic Cover

I have one. It was tan but was a maroonish purple. You could paint it to match your plastics

Re: Sear Hinge Plastic Cover

Are you looking for one because yours is broken or is it the condition of the finish? If it is to restore the finish on it you can buy the actual fuzzy stuff and redo it to look new. I did it on mine. The fuzzy stuff comes in many colors.

Re: Sear Hinge Plastic Cover

My son ordered it to do his car's plastics. When he gets up later I'll get the info on the fuzz.

Re: Sear Hinge Plastic Cover

My son can't remember what company he got that fuzzy stuff from. It came from some type of crafts store on line and the material was for flocking the inside of jewelry boxes and other craft items to give them a fuzzy appearance. The kit he bought came with the glue and colored fuzz. He sanded the plastic pieces with fine sand paper, put the glue on the part and blew the fuzz on with a plastic squeeze bottle like a ketchup bottle. When it was dry he blew the excess fuzz off. If he finds the name of the company I'll post it.
