82-87 Lamp driver module and housing
82-87 Lamp driver module and housing
I'm looking for the lamp driver module (wired between the Check engine light and ecm) as well as the light green container it is housed in. I'm upgrading the computer in my 81 to a newer computer and would like the CE light to not be on all the time.
Any pictures showing the mounting and wiring for this would also be appreciated.
Thanks!

Man I wish I did. I've search high and low for a pic. I'm pretty sure this is the module. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00APPMYIG?pc_redir=1413584224&robot_redir=1#immersive-view_1414125816405
From what others have said the module is then contained in a light green plastic box (the whole thing is fairly small) under the dash wired between the check engine light and the ECM. One guy said his was wrapped up in tape around the harness.

Success!!! Found this old thread with some nice pictures of the green housing the module plugs in to. https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/interior-parts-wanted/489525-check-engine-light-module.html

John in RI, awesome!! Just so to be clear I'm looking for the module as well as the light green housing it goes in. Let me know what you've got when you get a chance later. Thanks!
If you've wired one of these any advice on that front as well would be very helpful.
