blue interior is common

lots of birds had it

my 82 ta is dark blue interior,

i had an 88 s/e was light blue inside and out

see it all the time, but not older birds anymore

rare sight any color now

i wish i could find a few blue 82 83 84 bird parts for mine

spray paint, hum

crazy

poor car and parts

each to their own i guess,., makes mine one more rarer

good luck

I have read alot on this tread about chippind fadding etc...... the Krylon Fusion is just that it fuses chimicaly to the plastic. As far as the dies go I'm not too sure.I used the Krylon to paint my headlight area black... after a couple of coats some color sanding and a little wax they looked great.84FirebirdChick don't let some of the guys/gals on here get you down..I agree that there is alot of "if you don't do it my way you are wrong / a ******* / white trash etc..."If the product is used corectly it works great. Some advice if you decide to try and color sand the fussion make sure you spray a couple of coats as the first and sometimes the second will turn out looking like crap.
Good luck,
Mike

Modds: sorry I didn't know that you couldn't type about the color of somones neck

I just painted all of my gray interior panels last week gloss black Krylon Fusion & they look GREAT! Also repainted the black pieces to make sure they match. I cleaned them in my bath tub with dish soap first. Then I wiped them down with mineral spirits to make sure they had no residue from cleaning. I sprayed even coats about 30-60 sec. apart. This stuff drys fast! I have tryed to scratch the paint off & it's not going anywhere. This is the best rattle can paint I have used for interior panals. If only the exterior was as easy to do.

Baby hurry your *** up and get back here.. lol, PA is SO boring without you :'(

FWIW: I can take pics if you all REALLY desperately cannot wait until the 30th when she comes back. As she said, unfortunately we were not able to take before pics. I guess let me know and I'll see. I am driving her '00 at the moment, but was going to go out there today to get my Jeep back for a trip to the shore this weekend.

yea, my hatch (well my entire car) has weather stripping issues...i had a swamp back there when i removed my rear carpet...baking soda just wasnt cutting it...

i took all the panels out before i painted them...i havnt reinstalled them yet...too lazy lol...and waiting on new carpet...and get all the mold out lol. its gross...first thing i did when i got home from the air port was run inside and grab my keys to go start her up (currently no exhaust from the cat back, so its kinda fun sometimes lol) and i sat down in the seat, reached for the ingition, saw green on my steering wheel, on the center console, even on my defraust button! and yelped and jumped out...stupid rain and humid weather...its a rain forest in my car! lol. its baddddd! i should just give up on the peice of junk...oh well.

rick, my 84 isnt going anywhere...no ****ing where. its not the car as much as it is the memories and the history tied in with her. i can get another car in addition to her...but im not selling her. if you tell me to one more time, i will leave you. b/c if you cant understand how important that car is to me, and you have no respect for it, or respect for my dedication to fixing it, then i have no respect for you. i know thats a low blow...but thats just how important she is to me...shes never leaving me...she is my past, she is who i am. deal with it.

Sorry baby. I love you and your hot rides .. even if my Dakota (and maybe Jeepie) is faster ;-)

We're getting the 350 .. so yah. And btw, did you want me to tell the guy with the 700 that you want it too? Let me know for sure and I'll send him a reply e-mail. I remember you saying $200 was good, so I'll throw that offer and see what he says.
