custom 3spoke steering wheel

custom 3spoke steering wheel

hey guys my car has the plain black 3 spoke early 80s wheel, how many of you have colored the inside of the horn ring, the color of your car. i want to make mine red like my car, cause i will be gettin the exact color soon. how did you go about doing this cause i saw on some of your cars that they are different colors.

I colored the bird on my horn cover is silver, I just used testors model paint, it has been that way for a few years now.

did you mask the rest of the wheel off or somthin? so you didnt get it on the black part?

here is an old pic, but this wheel used to have black spokes and i painted the spokes silver to match the bezels on my guages (seen on the a-pillar in this pic, though they are all in the dash now in the new car)


oh, and i took the steering wheel out of the car and masked off the grip area when i painted it.
