Doing the Cavalier seat mod
Doing the Cavalier seat mod
Went salvage yard hunting today looking for seats... not a single thirdgen here that had any interior left, and all the 4th gens I saw they wanted way too much ($150-300) each for the cloth seats... well, I stumbled across a 2004 cavalier that he had just got in and the charcoal interior was immaculate. So, I asked how much for the seats and he said $50 for the set! WOO HOO! I snagged them and will put my brackets on soon and put them in.
On a sad note, at one lot there was a totalled 95 T/A with leather, and they had just left them in the sun/rain and they were falling apart and rotting out. I told them they could have sold those for $300-400 if they had kept them in good shape and they just looked at me like WTF?

Yeah, you pretty much have to get to the car right when it shows up to get seats that aren't covered in greasy, oily engine parts are mildewed from the rain.
I got lucky with my 97 camaro cloth seats. It had just arrived when I spotted it and got both front and back for $48.
