Alternative Shifter knobs?
Alternative Shifter *****?
Hello all, new user here.
i've got a 89 firebird, with automatic trans. and i'm doing a complete re-do on the interior. i HATE the stock T-grip shifter **** with a passion. does anyone have any suggestions of ***** that will fit and look a little better? aftermarket, or otherwise?
any help is appreciated.

Just got back from the local pull-n-save... ripped a shifter **** i really liked out of a late 80s camaro, so it should work, ill try it out later on.

this is my great experiment. I wanted the look of a manual, so I got an 8 ball, drilled a half inch hole 3/4 of the way through it, and slapped it on. It fits pretty snug, and you just push it down to shift. I'd like to find a way for it to stay on, but nothing is coming to mind.
Sorry for the dark pic, I took it in the garage.

nice now all you gotta do is put some threads on the end of your stick and in your 8 ball and screw it on, just make thebutton perminantly in. that's just what i might have done. also if you do decide to do that you will have to take the shifter lock off the bottom of the shifter. it is connected to the ignition cylinder and keeps the shifter from being used without the key. it also keeps the key in when the shifter is in any other gear than park.
by the way nice radio. that's the same sony i have
