Can I get leather upholstery for my car?

As of right now, I just plan to get the aftermarket, reproduction custom cloth for my '91 RS...but it currently has leather, and personally I've never seen another RS coupe with leather before, so I know its rare as hell! If I could find a place that sells it, I'd be tempted to redo the car in leather...

Can anyone help me out? I don't want to cheap out and do the vinyl crap Classic Industries sells in place of leather!

Car: Yes
Engine: Usually
Transmission: Sometimes
Axle/Gears: Behind me somewhere
Easiest and cheapest thing to do, is to just go to the junkyard and get all the seats out of a 4th gen.

They fit perfect, look perfect, and BOLT RIGHT IN.

I have a set out of about a 97 or so Z28 in my car right now.

Thanks for the tips. I know all about the 4th gen seat swap mod, but to be honest, I want to keep the stock look of the car. If I can't find original-type leather, I'm planning to just put the aftermarket, original-type custom cloth in the car...

The 4thgen seats are prolly your most economical option. Even the repro cloth seat covers will run, what... about $300/set?

But to keep your original seats and look, then I think your only option would be to find an upholstery shop in your area. But be prepared to spend at least $1,000, maybe more, depending upon how much you have done.

take a look at leatherseats.com
mrmike is very expensive but I do not have info to compare his product to others but double the price does not always mean twice the value. Search on google as there are several places that provide leather for our cars.

I'm in the same boat, I need new leather and I'm hearin' ya about the 4th gen swap thing but I have 2 questions. Do the back seats interchange as easily too? and since mine is convertible, is convertible backseat a specific item?
