Transmission: one that dont work so well

Axle/Gears: 3.42

want to change trunk latch

i want to change my trunk latch to be auto matic with a button in between the windo switches do i need a new hatch lock or a motor of some sort and what would this cost me

or if u wanna be cheap like me and just make it so it will pop up when u press the button find out where it just latches by laying inside the hatch area and mark it drill a hole threw the thick part and tap it then bolt it up and that's all their is to it without the fancy pants mechanism.
