Factory Stereo Woes

I finally found a factory stereo for my GTA, but when I opened the box I found a couple little pieces of plastic. Then I noticed that the "screen" had cracked during shipping.

Does anybody know if this can be fixed/replaced? Thanks for any help.

(P.S. The part # on the bottom is 16067012 if that helps. I already emailed Delco; they said they don't provide replacement parts to consumers. Yay, customer service!)

First off, good for you to want to keep a factory look. I think the factory radios look soooo much better then the aftermarket ones.
You might be able to find the same, or similar model, that was installed in a different model car that has the same size LCD cover. The base model Delco radio may even have the same lens. you should be able to fine plenty of standard radios at a junk yard for cheap.
Good luck and let us know how it goes.

I was just looking at old posts and wondering if you were able to fix your stereo?

Re: Factory Stereo Woes

I've hit a dry spell as far as the GTA resto goes. I got out of the Navy, moved to IA, and am now going to school. So there really hasn't been a whole lot of time, and my interest is really waning. I need something to get me going again, but the project just seems so big.
