Transmission: Auto

4th Gen T Top Holders VS. 3rd Gen T Tops

Does anyone know if you can retrofit the t top holders in the trunks of 4th gens (like my friend's Firebird) into those of 3rd gen Camaros?

If not is there a company out there that makes similar parts like these for 3rd gens?

I have the bag for my t tops but it seems like so much easier to lock them into the holders instead.

Axle/Gears: 4.10 10 bolt, 2.73 10 bolts

Looking in my 1991 Firebird owner's manual, t-top holders were an option as opposed to the bags. However, I have never seen a third gen with this option...

I don't have my third-gen nearby so I can't verify this, but it seems like the fourth-gen F-bodys have a much deeper trunk space to accomodate the t-tops. That's just off the top of my head.

I never knew that, I wonder if the dealership would be able to get them
