89 IROC-Z Convertible

Hey peeps,

Recently my rpm gauge was jumping up around when driving... all of the sudden it stopped working & is stuck @ 800? checked fuses all ok?

Any help or direction would be great! THX

check the connector at the distributor... thats the first thing i would look at
