4th Gen Center Console

How hard is the swap to a fourth gen center console? My center console is pretty messed up, and after seeing new / nice condition ones go for an upwards of $300.00 I got thinking. I know I read somewhere that they're almost completely plug and play, but I'm asking the experts over here! Since they're alot cheaper than Third Gen ones, plus the cup holder is oh so nice to have, I think I'd like to try the switch. Any insights? If I do it, I'll write another guide on how to do it.

Hey, noah, you're right, the subject has been covered (pics and the works, if I remember correctly). A search would turn up a ton of info--thanks for the overhead pics by the way. They'll be very useful to fellow thirdgenners.

I did search, but the only things I found were just final pictures of them installed, maybe I used the wrong terms. I'll be junkyard scavenging in the next couple of days to see if I can find one, thanks again James!
