overhead console bulbs
i recently got hold of an overhead console. it was missing the bulbs for the map light and the flashlight. i was able to find the flashlight bulb at radio shack. they call it a flashlight lamp #243.

i am wondering if anyone knows where to get the bulb for the map light and what the part number would be. also i am not sure if the bulb would go into a socket or not. it looks like i may be missing another piece unless the bulb has the right connector. any help is greatly appreciated.
is something missing here?

here are the parts i already have.

The lamp holder that your'e missing is similar to,but larger, the lamp holders used in the cluster and the shift indicator.Modern Day Muscle ( http://www.moderndaymuscle.com ) carries just what you need.Your'e also missing the lens for the lamp shell. When you get everything to put it back together line the outer lamp shell with some type of reflective tape(I used aluminum roofing tape). It will increase light output.
You have a very nice looking console.

Your also missing the felt linings for the trim ring & map light. As well as the trim rubber piece that goes in the end of the map light(shell). As for the bulb it looks similar to the 194(dash,warning,Hvac,Side markers)bulb, but it has a larger head. The socket for the 194 lamps may fit the map light circut board!

Looks like you picked up a great looking overhead console! Everyone above me answered all of your other questions. If you have trouble on the installation, let me know, my guide is up in the tech articles section.
