i know that this is a really dumb question, but i need to know b4 tearing the dash apart to find out for myself...


does the rear de-froster switch light up when the headlights/parking lights are on???

i know its dumb, but mine doesnt, and the hatch release right next to it does, so it looks like it should...

It's been forever and a day since my 'bird has had power to it but, IIRC, yes, it should. The driving lamp switch should light as well.

 

Yes, the defogger symbol illuminates when the parking lights are on along with the amber light when the switch is turned on.
