Its a 88 IROC, just wondering what this thing is, looks like a light of some kind, but it doesn't illuminate. Is it a light, if so what is it supposed to light up? Doesn't seem to mention anything in the factory service manual we have. Just curious. Thanks

Strange, the backlighting for the HVAC controls on my 82 TA always seemed to do the job well enough, I wonder why they bothered with that little light on the later models... doesn't seem like it would do much. Anyway, thanks for clearing that up guys
