Transmission: 700R4
Switches...
I have a 1984 5.0 HO, underneath the headlight ****(pull out motion) what other control is there.... I have a chrome switch, up and down motion!
What is this suppose to do?

The factory put the rocker switch for the fog lights there on cars so equipped. Anything chrome is something added by a previous owner.

Apeiron is correct....if you don't have fog lights you could go back to a factory switch and use it for something else.....NOS.....fans for amps.....ignition kill.....disco ball (maybe not).....anything.

On a '84 camaro the spot under the headlight switch was for the rear wiper switch.Fog lights weren't an option on Camaros until '85.And the switch looks indentical to the rear defroster switch.
