Interior Restoration
Hello, New guy here.
I am restoring my wifes 1986 Iroc Z28 305 TPI Automatic T Top Camaro and need so help locating a source for some interior parts. The t tops have leaked for years and has destroyed or ruined most of the interior parts. It is a black car with gray interior. I want to replace it all for her from headliner to floor including seat covers and door panels. I can not seem to find a source for restoration quality parts that use materials that look original. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

Hey and welcome aboard!
Check out sponsor hawks ( banner on top). They have a lot of interior parts, both new and used I believe. Also check out the classifieds here on the site, where a lot of parts are available at any time.

also try the for sale section as it's your best bet for cheap materials. your new interior complete in gray with seats, seals and all shouldn't cost more then around $1,000 for all factory original and in new shape. slightly less of course if you find deals. if you go through vendors on new items you'll be closer to 2k.
if you have any questions just ask, good luck.

You're not going to find stock patterns/fabrics for your seats and door panels. Unfortunately, the material just doesn't exist. However, there are a lot of places (including myself) who sell aftermarket headliners, door panels, seat covers and carpet. There are a couple manufacturers of carpet, and if you want to talk about the differences, PM me. When it comes to the headliners, door panels and seat covers, there's only one company that makes them, so no matter who you buy from, you're buying the exact same product. It's good quality stuff, but it is different from stock in one way or another. With the seat covers and door panels, it's the same style, same stitching and same fit, but with different (but similar) fabrics. For the headliners, they're basically the same as stock once installed, but because they're ABS and not fiberglass, the fit can take some patience to get just right.
Feel free to PM me if you have any specific questions.
