not to be negative and rather to be informative:

im sorry but the 82 83 84 birds are a very unique shape

i have tried swapping uppers and lowers cross ways from 82 83 84 to 85-up and from bird to maro and vice versa and they are all either different shapes at the dash, or the shells of the consoles wont fit inside each other

dont make me start taking pics to prove it, ive already been through all this with my 82 trans am trying to figure out how to replace my broken upper console shell with an unbroken one,

all to no avail

the 82 83 84 birds are just one of a kind unique, either have to swap everything, or your screwed

but anything can be swapped if you swap everything

good luck

BTW if the seller told you that '82 has a 350... they either swapped it or they're lying to ya... no "stock 350" was available in a 3rd gen until '87.

The 350 is coming out of my 85', i swaped it out about 2 years ago, and twisted the body a bit. I just picked it up today.

So if i want to put my 85' dash in, what all would i have to swap to make it work? would i have to swap the entire dash, or just the radio pod, and consol?
