firebird seatbelts, dumb question?

Will Firebird or trans am seat belts work in a camaro? I know they will probably bolt up, but will they match?

yep, they will bolt up and look the same, since the same colors were offered on Firebird and Camaro.

82 ones mount al differently than 83-up

so if one of the cars is 82 and other is not then nope

good luck

Both guys are wrong, 82-83 Firebird and Camaro seatbelts are the same, 84-89 IIRC correctly are the same and consist of rear lap belts. IIRC and, (I probably dont) 90-92 were rear shoulder belts but as far as the front, any and all 84-92 front belts are the same.

Thanks for the info. I figured they would be in many cases, the same.

oh, so 83 front belts were the same as the 82 ones ? i thought 82 sill plates were unique to 82 only due to the belt mounting in the 82 only

interesting

everyone used to always say 82 were the one year deal, so now its 83 too

wow.

ive never owned an 83(not knowingly anyways but i may have years ago) but i own an 82 and have had a couple 84's
so i know that atleast 84-up changed and 82 are totally different, ok well at least up front, but even so the buckles are different regardless, so you cant technically say they are the same

thanks
