floor pans

wasnt really sure were to post this but was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to get the section of floor pan that goes under the drivers feet. Ive been looking and all i can find is the full length ones for like $250 a side. which i know i can buy and chop them down but would just like to save some money and get just the sections i need.

Re: floor pans

nope, nobody makes just that part. the only place you can get the floors at all is from yearone i think. but you probably knew that. your best bet would be to post an ad in the parts wanted section of the classifieds i'm sure there is someone willing to cut a floor out of their parts car.

Re: floor pans

no i have the exact same problem all the rust is in front of the drivers seat they are on eBay for like 189 or something like that look hard they are there I'm gonna go to some junk yards and try my luck with a battery powered grinder saws all and drill for those spot welds youll find a clean enough one eventually that way

Re: floor pans

$250 for a full side factory correct floor pan isn't that bad, shops charge that much to patch holes let alone replace a complete floor pan. if you have welding knowledge cut your own patch of metal or spend the little extra money. so many of these cars have shot floor pans from abused owners that to have one with good floor pans they are well worth the $500 you'll spend to do it right the first time.

if you plan to keep your car do it right the first time, if this is just a cover up to sell your car patch it up.
