How do I get the head rests out of the seats?
I am having my front seats reupholstered next week and the lady doing the work asked me to disassemble as much of the seats as possible (remove all the plastic pieces etc.). I have no idea how the get the headrests out of the seat backs.

Here's a link to a thread where I posted a pic of the "slim jim" substitute I used to remove them. It's just a 1" wide metal strap(about a dollar from a hardware store) that I bent as necessary. Just slide it down the front, and it'll pop the catch that holds the headrest in. Then just pull the headrest out.
