I'm probably in the wrong section for this, but hopefully someone can help. I'm aware that a number of lights on these cars are not intended to have the bulb switched out, but rather the entire assembly. I am in the process of trying to replace my shift indicator light. It appears to be one of those which can't be easily replaced. Does anyone have experience with replacing this particular light? If so, where can I find a suitable replacement for it? I'm not an electrician or a mechanic so please keep this in mind. I appreciate any help that can be offered.

You can buy sockets that accept bulbs that are made to fit. I bought them at one of the chain stores. It was in the HELP/Doorman/Need a Part section
