INNER WINDOW SEALS

I bought inner windows seals from classic. They came with the plastic top cover for the door panel. My old door panel used metal nuts to retain it, the new pcs use a nail like retainer that doesnt line up with the existing slots in the door panel. Is their a prefered method of assembling these so everything lines up. How do they pierce the door panel? Do I put these on the door panel first before hanging it or do I hang the door panel first then put these covers with the window seals on last?

please help if you can

thx

Jeff

do you have any pics of the item? I heard other people say the same thing...I was thinking of buying some, but if they are totally different I might pass.

Jeff

I got a set from Fbody motorsports, they lined up just like the originals did. I got them for a 1987 iroc. I used the same metal nuts that self thread on the nail like pins. Maybe you got the wrong parts. Hope this helps.

Thanks Al
