Auto shifter change

How does one go about changing the shifter handle on an automatic?

Re: Auto shifter change

Get a flathead screwdriver and pop out the clip in front of the **** (facing the stereo). Easiest to do this while the car is in low gear (so you have more room), then put it in park and slide it off......if it does not slide off easy (another thread) try to wiggle it back and forth while pulling on it.

Re: Auto shifter change

Killer klown is absoluely correct.

If you want a cheap factory looking t-handle. Get a shift handle for a 89-90 cavailer Z24 and slide it on. Works great..............
