I'm sure i'm not the only one that has this problem but the headliner is falling off the roof and its starting to become a real pain. The interior is currently red and we are thinking about changing it to black. I have acouple of questions:

1.) How easy or difficult is it to replace a headliner by yourself?

2.) What is the best place to go to get the replacement parts for the headliner?

Overall, it's easy, just time consuming if you haven't done it before. The hardest part is getting the new one positioned properly. The ABS headliners are a bit pliable, which makes it hard to keep them where they belong while you're adjusting. I found (as I stated in the article) that the fitment was a little less than perfect after I got it in, but after it sat in the car for a few days in warm weather, it seemed to get itself into a more natural position and seems to fit better now. Either that or I just got used to it. Either way, considering how difficult it can be to repair and recover the original one, it's money well spent.

To answer your 2nd question, I'm partial to the seller that I mentioned in my article.

 

I recovered my old headliner back last week, we've had 90+ degree weather here lately and heavy winds, I recovered mine with headliner material and 3M yellow spray, seemed to work, it looks great, but as Jim said, it is a pain to get those inplace, I broke both clips off the crappy old one, so I used velcro If you can get ahold of a ABS headliner, do it, its worth the time over recovering the old one
