Blocking off vents - what did you do?

My AC is gone and I'd like to block off my vents around the dash since they get really dirty/ugly and are hard to clean, not to mention no longer used. What have people done for this?

i dont know how you could block them off really, hmmm.

best way would be to swap in a factory a/c delete dash

they arent cut out for the vents,

i have a camaro one sitting upstairs just wasting space

eventually it will go to trash

good luck

for 89 and earlier this would work. 90-92 is the newer style dash and there is no difference in AC or non AC dashes. The ducting behind the dash is slightly different for the "vent" option, but both still use the same side dash ducts and vacuum actuators. The old style AC delete used manual vent pulls.

Darkshot - my car has the 90-92 dash, and no AC, but I still use the side vents for heat on the colder nights.
