Ashtray Cover

Hi guys, A new member here and been learning a lot from reading posts and threads, must, good site!

Sooo, on to the question. . . I recently found my ashtray cover buried under the carpet, and been trying to put in place, it seems its been been glued before (by factory?) but the tabs that went through the holes are busted off, the remenates are still glued to the metal flipper. . . any strong glue or adhesive that can bond the plastic to metal???
